LYONS, New Jersey – The Veterans Affairs New Jersey Health Care System Community Living Center at Lyons, New Jersey has improved its overall rating to five stars in the latest assessment.

The CLC is a nursing home for Veterans.

“This is what we can do together as a team when we work together,” said Vincent F. Immiti, VA New Jersey Health Care System director. “We should all be proud of them.”

The Staffing metric remained high and the greatest improvement was in the Quality metric.

“It’s not about the stars, it’s about those improvements that team made in their quality measures to get them to five stars,” Immiti said.

VA New Jersey Health Care System strives to continuously improve the quality and timeliness of care that Veterans receive by placing their needs at the center of all endeavors through doing the right thing, the right way, at the right time.
